Happy HELL-o-ween ghouls and gobbles,

It has been sometime since I've dress up for Halloween. I haven't been feeling the whole thing, you know, face paint, masks, goofy clothes. If I recall the last time I dressed up, I was Jason . Yes it's was lame and easy,but this year I thought I'd try to make an effort .I had true intentions of going all out. Perhaps I would be a zombie alcoholic or a pageant nun.So I decided on something simple "Face Paint",a few drinks later and I was ready to don the dreaded face paint. My roommate Otvos was first to put the goop on. He's turned out sick.I guess it's the artists touch. My turn to wear the mask of make up 1) Apply white face paint, 2) Black the eyes and 3) Red lips. Simple and easy.Which seems to be my M.O. for this celebrated seasonal event. Now for the main event!.Going out with this crap on my face. At first walking down the street was weird and uncomfortable,then after sometime you forget you have paint on your face and it was fun to talk to people that didn't recognize you. On to the party

Otvos and I traveled to Shred Central for their hosting of "Night of the Living Shred" the night was to showcase some of Adam McLaughlin "Acid Reign" artwork. Let's just say Mortals work is very over the top,but has funny undertones to he's pieces ,and well he like dolls too. There was a spooky hallway coming into Shred and the horrifying skate sesh was in full swing (No photos) a lot of people dressed up to bask in the Devils Night. I have to say I had a great time, maybe I might go all out for next year ?

It's been sometime since we have posted any new content on this thingy.

After Ridin' 4 Riches ,we decided to sit back and enjoy the 'Fruits of our labour", so to speak. We have been going strong since we started. One whole year to be exacted . There are some interesting project that The Gents are working on,with unicorns and spaceships,well not really, but you never know with Robert J. Fowler on board.

I was watching the unloading of a large lake freighter and it made me reminisce.

Cranes,stevedores,FAS,FOB,cargo,dry goods and olde units of measurements. Like pints and yards and chains and Hogsheads! There was a time when a man could go down to the harbour and haul home a hogshead of Molasses and a bushel of chickens to make some..............................

MOLASSEFIED CHICKEN

Things U Need

3-5 pound chicken

Carton of Molasses

Box of coarse salt

1 Handful freshly chopped dried chilies (Don't be a wimp-get out the rubber gloves and cutting board)

Water

Fresh ground pepper

Big-ass Ziploc bag

Chicken stand

1 Add carton of molasses to large metal bowl.

2 Add 1.5 cups of salt to molasses

3 Add at least 3 liters of cold water

4 Add chilies

5 Stir that shit up my FRIEND! If you cant get the salt to dissolve- Don't worry!

6 Get one of them there Z-loc's at the ready,uummmhhmm.

7 Stick your bird in a Z-loc bag.............

8. Carefully pour mix into the Z-loc.Add extra water if needed to COVER chicken.

9. Squeeze out the air and seal the Z-loc.REFRIGERATE at least 24hours

10. Burn a stick and drink a Ting http://www.jamaicadrinks.com/product_ting_advertisement.htm

11. Remove from fridge and open bag in the sink.

12. Place bird on paper towel

13. Bam!! Bird with fresh ground pepper

14. More chilies Y'all!!!!!!!

15. Jam chicken onto stand

16. Pre-heat oven to 350. Nice and hot now!

17. Oven time!

18. Take 'er out when it looks like this(1.5 hours)

19. Admire your work. Dont forget to PROBE YOUR MEAT, 165 is the safe-zone.

20 Now that's a bird

21 Serve with rice+beans,asparagus and bean 'n carrot medley.

What you are about to read is someone who worked, damn hard to get to his place in the skateboard world with determination and well ... skill. Anthony has been that guy who would show up at a sesh ,chill and reserved but bust out style and power. Mr. Shetler has been a favourite of mine since he first got on Zoo York,but with time and change everyone must move forward and that's just what he is doing. Keep, keepin' playa. 1) For people that don't no, why the move over to the World camp?

I was offered a pro board and more money, I was hyped on Zoo but I really wanted to make the next step, and World came at the perfect time with a good offer!

2) Did you get any flack for moving to a company known for Devil man?

Not really man, the thing is I carry myself a certain way, everybody that knows me understands what I'm about, I market my life story through my skateboarding, so if World is backing me then you know they are backing someone real, every interview and graphic I puts out, talk about how I came from nothing and that I'm living a dream right now, and World is helping me do that.

3) It seems you have a big bag of tricks is there a move that always gets you in a game of s-k-a-t-e?

Ummm maybe a inward heelflip, I got 'em but I might mess that one up in a game of skate.

4) Are there any tour stops that you are doing this Summer?

I'm gonna be doing the Dew tour this summer, plus we are filming for a new World Industries video and I'm also going to Portugal in about a month.

5) In this day in age can a pro make a dollar bill?

I live comfortably, and I don't have any other jobs besides skateboarding, and I've been saving money ever month as well.

6) What tune is pumpin' the most in your speakers,flavour of the month?

Brother Ali , if you've never heard of him do your self a favour and check it out sooo good.

7) So I see you getting married,when's that going down?and will Elwood( Anthony's dog) be the ring bearer?

We are still working on a set date to get married,, I'm very excited its a big step for me, and Elwood will mos def be the ring bearer.

8) Any advice to up and comers in the skate game?

Follower your heart and if you really want to be a pro skateboarder put in the work and respect people and take your chances.

9) Where has skateboarding taken you? and what was the most memorable place/s?

Man it's crazy to think about it, I never dreamed I would have gone to as many places as I have, I've been all around the world for real, but my favourite was China, I went there twice last year, it is amazing and a complete culture shock.

10) Any Harold Hunter stories you can speak on?

Harold passed before I got on Zoo, so I don't have any stories but Harold is legit. Legends never die !!!

Went to the Ajax RIBFEST on Friday night.

Ate a bunch of so-so ribs.

Woke up on Saturday and took a nasty dump.

Looked out the shithouse window and saw that spring has sprung and summer is close by.......

New beginnings,butterfly's,rebirth of the cosmos and shit.

Made me hungry for some MEAT COCOONS!

Nothing beats Pork wrapped in Pork!

Here we go!

STUFF u NEED

Pork tenderloin(www.walmart.ca 2 for like 8 bucks!)

Bacon

2 tbls Fresh ground pepper(powdered shit wont cut it, there Shemp!)

2 tbls chopped dried red pepper(sweet and hot)

Olive oil(http://www.sarafino.com/)

Rock salt

1.Wash pork tenderloins in cold water. Pat dry. Place on a foil lined baking pan.

2.Mix pepper and peppers.BAM loins with half of the P+P mixture.

3.Wrap loins with bacon,starting at the thick end. Always start and end at the bottom of the loin.The weight of the loin will hold the bacon when it shrinks.BAM with remaining P+P mixture.Refrigerate.

4.Set oven to $400$ Get her right hot!

5. Drizzle with olive oil and BAM with rock salt.

6. Oven time! middle rack!

7.Take 'em out when they look like this!

Make sure you probe your meat!

155 is the safe zone but 165 is where they usually end up cause of the bacon.

Serve with a minimum of three vegetables and Arizona iced tea(http://www.drinkarizona.com)

Back in this beach again with a interview with Joey Clarke of FREEDOM FIGHTER skateboards.

I met Joey only a year ago and off the bat he seemed sincere (Which is unheard of in this industry)

You don't really meet people that will help others before themselves,with all his charity work and on going projects, Joey still has time to shred the axe, run a skateboard company and well be an all around radical dude.

In a sea of skateboard companies, why start a skateboard brand?

Not to get rich, that's for sure! Ha ha, it's definitely for the love

and passion. It allows me to give back and help shape and be a part of the culture that has given me so much. Let's be real, skaters skate. That's what we do! We don't have much money, and if you do have a little it's to get a new pair of kicks or a deck to keep skating. If I can help by having a high quality pro deck made here in Canada instead of over seas at a reasonable price, then I will.

What does Freedom Fighter stand for?

That's a good and tough question. I can give you many answers and go on and on, but I'll keep it simple… Or I'll try. Skateboarding is just

that, freedom! I remember getting kicked and chased out of so many places for skating. We always had to fight for the right to skate. As lame as that may sound it's the truth. It's good to see that skating is becoming more acceptable nowadays. We try to be socially and economically conscious. We are a little more political in nature, but how can we not be? Politics are in everything.

What can we expect from FF skateboards in the future?

Lots! We are putting out a new line under the Freedom Fighter umbrella. Can't talk much about it now, but be on the lookout for it in August. We're also putting out some decks with Dave the Chimp, Nathan Jurevicius and Smolik to name a few. Oh, and watch out for our new line of denim for the Fall/Winter.

You seemed to be very involved in charity work? Enlighten us on this

As I said before, Skateboarding has given me so much and made me who I am (my mother had a big hand in that too, ha ha), so it only makes sense to give back. I know and see a lot of people doing amazing and unselfish things, and why not!? I've always been a firm believer that if you can help someone out then why wouldn't you. I know I could always use an extra hand. I started doing the Disposable Art show annually. Pretty straight forward, we send skateboards to artists here and abroad, they do their thing and ship them back. Then we have an opening night with DJ's, drinks,

raffles and such and hopefully raise some money for a good cause.

With all the art shows/charity's you have put together, what one had the most impression on you?

It had to be seeing my mom at the first show having the time of her life! Mingling and partying it up with everyone, seeing and hearing everyone praise her and have her tell me I have a great community around me. That had a huge impact on me.

Where did the idea come from for the TLG collaboration deck?

TLG, ha ha. We talked about doing something together. I remember being asked about 9 months ago if I had any ideas, which at the time I thought was a funny question because I have a ton of ideas, ha ha. But really, I went to bed that night and woke up with a concept and artist in mind. Unfortunately, something came up and it had to be put on hold. When Brad approached me again few months later asking my thoughts on getting back to it, I told him give me a day. I was feeling something different. With some brainstorming and another night’s sleep I came up with a new concept and artist. After Bowman tweaked the concept, the end result was The Gents as caricatures being held down by the FF guerrillas. Bowman killed it, as usual.

Who has helped bring FF to where it is today?

Hmmmmm, History. No, no, really. There is so much to learn and pick from when helping shape, drive and mold you and what your doing. Also, my moms, my brother, Tracy, Smolik and The Bait Shop to name a few. Haha.

When did you first start working with Trevor Bowman and how did you meet?

I was a big fan of his work and was lucky enough to be walking by

Spazz's Omy Gallery and saw that a piece I really liked was half price! I couldn't believe it, and still couldn't afford it. Thank the gallery for layaway, ha ha. I met Bowman shortly after that. That had to be 5 years ago now!? Trevor was also nice enough to lend his time and skill set to this and last year’s disposable show. We have some future plans for work on as well.

Any words of wisdom to an up and coming skateboard brand?

Do it for the right reasons. If you do that and stay true you can't fail.

Here is the first instalment of a few interviews that will be accompanying our release of the limited edition TLG X FREEDOM FIGHTER X TREVOR BOWMAN deck.

What can I say about Trevor Bowman... well not much I don't even know the guy,but what I do know is he has a knack for drawing & painting all you favourite characters in odd and interesting place and posses, with that being said, here's a little talk on talk with Mr. Bowman.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

Mostly movies and TV shows I grew up with. I try to keep on top of current events but I find myself constantly reminiscing to the 50’s 60’s and 70’s , pop art and print ads ., accessories and retro clothing , Playboy , National Geographic and Time magazines , the styles , the trends and music have always been a big influence on my life .

Favourite medium to use ?

Glass , paint and mixed materials . I treat every sheet of glass as a animation cel ,outline goes on one side ,colour and mixed materials go on the other . Its delicate to work with ,but the finish product is always worth the risks .

How did you get into doing skins for cell phones ?

A friend of mine started a make your own/do it yourself iPhone skin company called StickStickBangBang . It’s a great product , easy to use and should be mentioned to everybody out there : http://www.stickstickbangbang.com/bowmanitis wink wink nudge nudge

What prompted your move to Australia ?

I had a couple of friends move down there , 2 were in teachers college , and 2 others were exploring . One was dating a British guy who was working on the new Star Wars films and told me to get down there . I’ve always had an urge to go there and it seemed like a good move At the time , wasn’t tied down to anything and needed a change . Didn’t end up seeing R2D2 but I did do some cool shit down there .

Your work seems to have a comic book background feel, did you read comic books

as a young lad ?

Big X men , Spider man and Batman fan . Cosmic Odyssey by Mignola and the Maxx by Sam Keith really hit home for me . I collected for a couple of years and stole ideas and poses for my own sketches ,there were some great artists out there and really influential images , plus having a classical animation background really instilled that comic book black outline in my work today .

Are you still singing in any bands ?

Unfortunately , my singing career has been reduced to playing guitar on the crapper these days . Too much screaming and too little training left me with MTD (Muscular Tension Dysphonia) . It’s this singing disorder , where you use your esophagus as a diaphragm ,projecting from your throat instead of your gut . I can still belt it out , just have to warm up 1st. still writing though . "Always a broke ass rockstar for life" .

How did you hook up with Joey Clarke of Freedom Fighter skateboards? and How

did you start doing graphics for him?

I met Joey back when Omy gallery, on Queen , was still open , he bought a painting off of me and we’ve remained friends ever since . Joey is a good human and is a big supporter of mine as well as arts in general. He’s kept me employed and has been good to me over the years .

Working on the TLG /FF skateboard graphics did you find any complications doing

any of the characters or the guerrillas ?

Honestly ? not really . minus the fact that you guys added a brand new character to the design the day it was supposed to be finished , I had fun doing this one . It’s tough to capture one’s likeness and demeanour with out the proper sit down camera time but I think it turned out pretty cool . Everybody is recognizable and that’s all that matters in the end . I tried to catch a glimpse of everybody’s personality , knowing none of you guys in person , I had to rely on photo references for your characteristics . Facebook helped out a lot , hope I get a signed copy one day

Is there a prized piece that you would never part within your collection?

I used to hang on to my paintings ,hoard them almost , but then I sold a few and realized the potential and gained confidence in my abilities and talents . There is a painting that I have had for a couple of years called The Boba Surf . 56 x 50 inch glass window frame I found a few years back , features Boba Fett surf boarding a big wave with a sexy red space chick ridding the nose . It’s my favourite and I have yet to finish it because of its size , weight and sentimental value . It is up for sale but I’ll never get what I want for it so, I might just keep it .

So what’s next for you ? Any up and coming shows or projects ?

Nothing scheduled yet but there is a project I have looming in my head , actually several projects I have 3 solid art shows I’d like to do and get out of my head sometime soon, need a proper gallery and representation to get them started though .In the meantime I’m just scrapping by , doing storyboards and trying to get my stuff out there .

Any advice to up and coming artist ?

Stay in school , get your degree , never doubt your super powers

Here at the manor we have deductions about where did all the good Hip Hop go.I mean dance rap is dance rap but even the real heads know, that nothing beats the pure lyrics of life and that hard hitting bass line ,your blood always gets going. So when we received a e-mail from this Coney Island native ,we we're very please to hear someone coming with the real as well as passion for the art form, which is missing in the Hip hop game. Here's a little history on this individual KIL RIPKIN

Hip Hop is a culture that was created by and for the people, and when it comes to exibiting that love and passion for the art, nobody displays it like Kil Ripkin the Genereal, AKA The Ghetto Correspondent. Growing up in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn N.Y., Kil set out on his journey to be the next big thing in Hip Hop. Kil began as a solo artist quietly establishing his name as some one to be wreckon with, earning the respect of his peers alike. Kil began producing his own music working under the tutelage of his big Bro., songwriter, producer and engineer Don Newkirk (Smoking Heads). Kil also sharpend his skills working with long time engineer Filthy Rich (Yosumi Entertainment). Quickly Establishing himself as a up in coming producer going under the name of (Storm) thru out the five boroughs, Kil hooked up with Boot Camp Affliates Mighty Real and Rebel X. They formed the rap alliance called the "Supreme Forces" who featured the likes of Space, Telepathic and the Young Veteran Torae. Working on a Rebel X solo project, Kil and Reb decided to form the New York underground group "The F.E.D.S". The two were a deadly combo releasing several underground hits including the single released on Step In Deep Productions, titled "Drama" featuring Rasheeda. Kil has put in work with several other artist and groups like, I.G.T formerly of loud records, Get Doe Entertainment, Stix (Horror City), Kings Kounty Records, The Plague, and several comilation albums most notably "Game Over" released on Yosumi Records. Credits also include co writing and producing songs on 40 Acres, "Get on The Bus" and "Crooklyn" soundtracks, and most of the production on Torae's "Coney Island Finest" mix tape. After years of producing for several artist and the split of the FEDS, Rip turned his focus back to his solo career and started working on the revolutionary banger "Black Power Black Love" The Buz CD, with production from Kil,Don Newkirk and Valentine of I.G.T. The album became the theme music for the revolutionary Uhuru movement that was taking place in Brooklyn, and Kil's passion grew even more to get his message across. Kil's Stage prowess filled many venues thru out the New York area which made his shows the place to be. Off the success of Black Power Black Love, Kil and his Coney Island bretheren Torae continued to Groom there work together and with the help of then manager (Squirrel) Attic Entertainment, they linked up with up and coming dj Vega Bennenton and his partner Wally Suede and together they formed the Hip Hop Super Group The Coalescence. They released the underground hit "Promises" and the group was nominated for two undergroung music awards including song of the year. The Co. will be back in the lab soon but until then expect alot of heat from the Genereal starting with the "Balancing Act" produced by Mikal Evans (Deep Rooted) Raticus and Eric G. The Music is soulful, truthful, spiritual and rebelious. Surely after one listen to Kil Ripkin you will realize very quickly what Hip Hop truly sounds like

The Gents have been "In them streets" for the past few weeks, working on projects and meeting up with like minded individuals . Here's a look at what these "Lovely" people have going on.

MISS VEE 's nails have been generating a big buzz on the nail scene with her personal touches to each set of nails she designs. So of course Fowler wanted to get in on the one of a kind nails that she designs.

VANGEL has been making waves in and around the Toronto scene for sometime now, as well as getting rave reviews from the press

The Gents stepped out of the manor last night to enjoy the sweet sounds of The Genius himself, GZA of Wu Tang Clan, at The Sound Academy. He threw down a great set and got heads and hands swaying (and I think I even saw a couple of fist pumps.) Also giving a great performance was DJ Scratch Bastid, who played an enthusiastic set to warm up the crowd. It brought out industry and concert goers alike, and proved to be a great night in the name of the WU.

Below is a interview with MARKET GARDEN 's very own Dave Larkin and Alan Wood.

These two have put a lot of time and energy into creating a path that is less followed.

MG sticks to it guns.

MG Interview

1) Why did the two of you want to start your own brand?

Dave: We wanted to start our own brand, the Market Garden, to create something new and original in using the *MG Code to build it "from the roots up."

Alan: Ah yes, “from the roots up”. Because anything that is at all worth something of true quality with true people behind the brand, it all goes back to their roots. What they believe in that is worth believing in and creating awareness about these beliefs. Right? Since this is just the first question, I’ll try and keep it short. The reason why I was willing to start a brand with Dave was because we both feel the same about what a “brand” should be. Most company’s these days that are established are so predictable with what they offer, you usually don’t get what you pay for, and a million other people all have the same shit. It’s too uniform.

Basically, what we wanted to do is be outside of the standard approach. Anti- formula.

2) How would you describe your style within your brand?

Dave: The Market Garden's style basically is what it is. Since we are heavily art based, the items MG offers reflects the style and design of the people creating it. Customers will perceive the company in their own way respectfully. We are influenced from everything, any past/present political issues, people, music, art, skateboarding and life.

Alan: When you mention “style”, I think more of our approach within the brand that has developed and evolved into various styles by working with different artists, and always trying new things such as the sunglasses, wallets, button packs, one-off items, artist prints etc. It also goes beyond the brand itself and what we offer for goods, by promoting local artists, art shows of all mediums, music and shows with local bands and just trying to get our hands in helping within the community we’ve been a part of for so long.

3) Can a small brand go big and still keeps its integrity?

Dave: Keeping your integrity is number one in the *MG Code, I believe it is possible and The Market Garden will be seen as that example.

Alan: You bet your ass it can. It’s quite simple too. Just don’t sell out. Keep it in the independently owned shops, continue promoting anything that has good people behind it, and continue to offer the same quality goods. These points are all easy enough to stand by. We’re doing it as a small local company. I think it would just get easier to do the more the brand continues to expand.

4) What does the future hold for Market Garden?

Dave: The future holds a 3rd collection release, set to debut this coming December featuring a MG x TLG collaboration also featuring guest artists Riki-Kay Middleton and Jason Derry. 5) Is there a five-year plan that is being set in motion or is the brand more organically growing?

Dave: I'd say at this point MG is more organically growing; all of the items we offer are limited editions therefore it keeps us tight.

Alan: Ahhh, see that? “Organic”…“roots”. I think we’re onto something don’t you?? Ya, I guess I would say organically growing. We do as much as we can, and it has grown significantly since we released last July. I think we’ll just stay the course and see what happens. Just keep pushing.

6) Any up and coming events? Or projects, maybe something in the works?

Dave: The most recent event I mentioned in the previous question, which is our 3rd Collection. We are in talks with a few people and companies for some upcoming projects but nothing has been finalized yet.

Alan: I’m always thinking of other projects. I can’t shut it off. There are plenty of events to come. It takes a bit of planning, and money. I have a lack of one more than the other. Can you guess which one?

7) What is the best piece of advice that someone has told you?

Dave: Live and learn.

Alan: Don’t stare at the sun. Front to back. Smoking can kill you. Be good to people. Be honest, not an asshole. …the list is long. Not that I abide by all of them. But I certainly do my best.

8) Where can people buy your gear?

Dave: MG has been sold out of Blue Tile Lounge, Adrift Skateshop, The Circle, Noise, Decibel and Sleeping Giant Gallery. Everything left for sale as of now, can be found on online store HYPERLINK "http://www.themarketgarden.ca/v2/web/"http://www.themarketgarden.ca/v2/web/

Blue Tile Lounge will be the first store to receive MG’s new gear from the 3rd Collection after its released this December.

9) Will there be a Market Garden fruit stand in the future?

Dave: Right by da beach boyeeeee....ha-ha. We do pop up shops at events with individuals that we support and support us. Such events as: TLG Ridin' 4 Riches, Manifesto, Baitshop, Five & Dime and Sleeping Giant to name a few.

Alan: A fruit stand? I’m not a fruit guy. If it were my choice it would be veggies for sure. Maybe stir fried veggies. With steaks, pizzas and wine. Fuck it, I’m opening up a Steak Pizza Wine shop.

10) How do you want to end this interview? Shout outs/fuck you's or just straight up shameless plugging?

Dave: Shout out's for sure, the list is long. Okay….Rene Zellwegger, 102.1 The Edge, Dane Cook…ah forget it. My fingers are going to get too sore to type it all out. I’ll put my energy toward the people to be most inspiring to me:

Blue Tile Lounge and Baitshop to start are 2 of the best things that have happened with local, independently owned shops. The Lovely Gentlemen of course of course. Sleeping Giant Gallery. HRS with Wes Loates and Paul Otvos. All my friends that skate. All my friends that don’t skate. Rob Dyer with Skate 4 Cancer.(That’s commitment people.) There’s everyone that Dave mentioned as well as all the others and everything else and so on. Goes to show that there’s a lot of greatness and positivity out there, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.

TLG: How did your art show at The Bait Shop go ?

PATRICIO: The art show at the Baitshop was good, Greg is great. I think only my sister and my dad bought stuff, but I don't really make art for people to buy, I make it for people to see, that sounds really lame.

TLG: Were you that kid in JK that always ate the finger paint?

PATRICIO: I don't think I was ever in JK, I was in regular Kindergarten and I hated finger painting and painting .I felt like I couldn't control it and it frustrated me.

TLG: What's the deal with the love affair with Ghostbusters?

PATRICIO: Ha,ha,ha Ghostbusters? That is the best movie ever and the best theme song. I have loved Ghostbusters since I was really young. I watched the movie every day and the cartoon every morning, collected the toys ate the cereal. I even reenacted the movie for guests... I guess I never grew out of it.

TLG: Are you still doing " RADICAL" grip tape jobs?

PATRICIO: Mostly just for myself these days, I don't really have the means to sell it, I have been considering starting that again... That was a Perception/Common Ground thing... you might see them pop up at Blue Tile Lounge.

TLG: Best story from the old Percy days?

PATRICIO: Oh man there are way too many. Shooting Photos with Nathan, Warren's freestyle, praying for my life in the back seat of Greg(Wilson)'s car. Honestly every day was better than the next when that shop was open.

TLG: With work as well as school how do you find time to be creative?

PATRICIO: I pretty much have to focus all my creativity on school right now. I am not working at the moment. I go back and forth working at S&J Sales.They are good to me.

TLG: What's the most obscure collectable you own?

PATRICIO: I have a few: A framed Unicorn poster, a Jewel of the Nile movie poster from '85, and I just bought a Peter Sellers Record.

TLG: A trains leaving Boston at 2:39 pm and another train is leaving Toronto at 2:55 pm . What's your favorite colour?

PATRICIO: I like brown, pink, and pale blues... I am a fan of Wes Anderson movies and I like the colours that are predominant in his movies, mostly The Life Aquatic.

TLG: Vanilla or chocolate?

PATRICIO: I usually buy Vanilla Soy milk, but chocolate is good too.

TLG: What next for the Pat Man?

PATRICIO: I am working on doing some collaborations. Gnarly Nathan Brown has already confirmed that he is "in". Other tan that; I have started taking some medium format photos and I am going to start showing my Polaroids. I want to do some more shows, make t shirts, finish school, get married settle down and have a taco..( I am hungry let's get a taco)

I've also started drawing with my left hand and documenting my progress, it is like learning all over again... or like skating switch.

CLASSIC & PARK is a new brand on the T.O. scene. With their updated style of street prep and a dash of good ol' hardcore, C&P has made a nish for themselves in the ever so polluted street wear market. Having that said Rob & Steph ( Owners) know that it is a uphill battle to even get in the front door of a retail store. Rob speaks with easy " Things take time " with determination in his eyes." But we'll get there" Steph adds in a laid back manner. C&P has a drive that excels past others in the fact that they don't see themselves as the next "It" brand they see CLASSIC & PARK as a stepping stone to make comfortable,stylish product with a can do attitude.

The Gents decided to hit up the BONE YARD mini ramp contest on "Devil's Night"

So we headed on over to the BAIT SHOP in hopes of finding carnage and mutilation on the ramp of DEATH .

This is how the goulish night got started, some guy dropped in on the ramp and broke his knee with in 5 mintues of being there. This was a good sign of how the night would proceed.

Our good friend PATRICIO ULLOA (TLG member # 38982178) has been scribbling and doodling on whatever would come in front of his face for years, from a scrap piece of paper to detailed griptape jobs at Percy (R.I.P. Go get'em Greg)

From the first day I meet Pat, he has always had some kind of creative object in his hand
